These Terms & Services govern your use of the Bassic Deep House website and the way we offer home improvement planning and construction. By browsing the site, sending a form, or asking us to begin a room brief, you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, please leave the site and do not submit a form. These terms are a plain-language agreement between you and Bassic Deep House. They are not a construction contract. A construction contract, when one is signed, controls the build itself and prevails if it conflicts with a general sentence here.

1. Who we are

Bassic Deep House is a home improvement studio. We plan and build improvements to kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms, bedrooms, storage, paint, flooring, lighting, and outdoor rooms. References on this website to “the studio,” “we,” and “us” mean Bassic Deep House. References to “you” mean the person using the site or the household that asks for work.

The website is an introduction. Photographs show completed or in-progress rooms and are meant to explain a way of working. They are not a promise that your room will match a photograph. Every house has its own light, structure, and habits. Your scope is the document we write for your rooms, not the gallery.

2. Using the website

You may read the pages, look at projects, and send a message through the forms for a lawful personal inquiry about home improvement. You may not copy the site’s text, layout, or logo for your own commercial studio, scrape the pages in bulk, attempt to break the forms, or upload anything unlawful, misleading, or harmful. You may not present yourself as Bassic Deep House or suggest that we endorse a product we have not named.

The site is static. Forms run in your browser. When a form is accepted, you see a confirmation on the page. That confirmation means the fields passed the checks we wrote into the page. It does not, by itself, create a contract, reserve a date, or guarantee that a person has already read your note. A project begins only when we reply and, where money and construction are involved, when a written scope is accepted.

3. Inquiries, quotes, and retainers

An email or form message is an invitation to talk. We may ask for photos, rough sizes, and a description of what fails in the room. A planning path described on the pricing page is a starting structure, not a fixed construction price. Figures shown as planning retainers cover the listening visit, brief, and the drawings or boards named in that path. Construction is priced after the relevant board or drawing is clear enough to order from.

Quotes are valid for the period written on the quote, or for thirty days if no period is stated. Material prices move. If you accept after the quote expires, we will refresh the numbers before work is scheduled. A retainer reserves time on a lead’s calendar. If you pause for a long stretch, we may release that time and offer a new window. Unused planning effort that you stop is handled as the pricing page describes: you keep the drawings you have paid for.

4. Scopes of work

We will describe rooms, surfaces, protections, and exclusions in writing. If a wall must open, if an allowance is used, or if an existing condition differs from what could be seen on the first walk, we will tell you before we expand the work. You should read the scope. Questions are welcome before you accept it. Silence is not a change order. A request made in passing on site is written down and priced if it alters materials, time, or the rooms we touch.

We are not obligated to perform work outside the scope, to match a finish that was never sampled, or to repair damage caused by others after we leave a phase. We will point out conditions that affect safety or the durability of the work we are asked to do. If you decline a step we believe is necessary for a sound result, we may limit our responsibility for that result in the written scope.

5. Your responsibilities

You agree to give accurate information about the house, to make the rooms available on the days we agree, and to tell us about known hazards, pets, alarms, and items that must not be moved. You will review samples in the light of the actual room when we ask you to. Delayed decisions can move the schedule. You will pay stages as described in the accepted scope. You will not ask our makers to perform substantial extra work without a written note.

6. Schedules

Dates are estimates until materials are confirmed and the previous phase is complete. Weather, deliveries, and conditions hidden in walls can shift a day. We will revise the date in writing when we know it must move. We do not promise a calendar day that depends on a supplier we do not control, though we choose suppliers carefully and tell you when a lead time is long.

7. Site care

We protect floors and furniture that stay, contain dust as the scope describes, and leave work areas swept at the end of a day when it is safe to do so. A house under construction is not a finished house. Children and guests should stay out of active work zones. Tools and materials on site are for the project. Please do not move them.

8. Intellectual property

Drawings, briefs, sample boards, photographs, and text we create remain our intellectual property until a scope says otherwise. You receive a license to use the drawings for the house they were made for. You may not resell them as a template. The Bassic Deep House name and logo may not be used without permission. Photographs we take of your rooms may be used in our gallery unless you ask us, in writing, not to show identifying views. We will respect that request.

9. Website content

We try to keep pages accurate. Services evolve, and a sentence may lag behind a practice. If a page and a signed scope disagree, the scope wins. Nothing on the site is professional advice for a house we have not seen. Structural, electrical, and moisture questions are answered for your house only after a proper look, and only within the work we are engaged to do.

10. Acceptable messages

Do not send confidential information you are not ready to share, and do not send content that is unlawful, abusive, or that infringes someone else’s rights. We may decline a project that is outside our craft, that asks us to conceal a defect, or that we cannot staff with care.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Bassic Deep House is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising only from use of the website, including lost time caused by a form that fails to display. Liability for construction is governed by the signed scope and by applicable law, and is not expanded by marketing language on these pages. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that the law does not allow us to exclude.

12. Indemnity

You agree to cover us against claims that arise from your misuse of the site, from content you submit that you did not have the right to share, or from a third party you invite onto the site under your direction, except to the extent the claim is caused by our own negligence or willful misconduct.

13. Privacy

Personal information you submit is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy is part of the way we work, and you should read it before you send a form. Those pages explain what we collect on this static site and what we do not collect.

14. Third-party links

Share icons may open another service so you can share our address. Those services have their own terms. We do not control them. A link is not an endorsement of every practice of that service.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the studio’s services change. The page will show the current version when you load it. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the current version for future use. A scope already signed keeps the terms that were in force when you signed it, unless we both agree to amend that scope.

16. Suspension

We may refuse service or stop corresponding if a message is abusive, fraudulent, or if continuing would put makers or a household at risk. We may also pause a project if a stage payment agreed in writing is overdue, after notice and a fair chance to cure.

17. Entire website agreement

These Terms & Services, together with the Privacy Policy, are the agreement for use of the website. They do not replace a proposal, retainer note, or construction scope. If a court finds one sentence unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Headings are for convenience.
