What the retainer buys, and what it does not
The retainer reserves a lead and pays for the listening visit, the brief, and the first drawings or boards described in the path you choose. It is credited toward the build if you continue with Bassic Deep House. If you stop after the drawings, you keep them. We do not hold a room hostage.
Construction pricing arrives after the board is approved. It lists labor, materials we supply, materials you prefer to keep, and a contingency for what walls sometimes hide. We do not invoice a round number and explain it later. Allowances are named: the tile line, the cabinet species, the fixture family.
Payment rhythm
Planning is paid at the start of that phase. Construction is billed by completed stages: protection and demolition, rough work, finishes, and the final adjustment visit. You receive a short note with each invoice describing what is done. We do not ask for the full build cost on day one.
Changes
A change is welcome before materials are ordered. After that, we price the difference in writing and shift the date if the change needs time. A verbal “while you are here” is written down the same day so nobody is surprised by a drawer that was never on the drawing.
