Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Bassic Deep House treats information when you visit bassicdeephouse.com, subscribe to notes, or send a project inquiry. We wrote it in full sentences because a home improvement studio should be as plain about data as it is about tile. Please read it before you submit a form. If you do not agree, do not send personal information through the site.

1. Who is responsible

Bassic Deep House is responsible for the information described here. You can reach us at hello@bassicdeephouse.com. We do not publish a telephone number or a street address. Email is the contact method for privacy questions, access requests, and corrections. When this policy says “we,” it means the studio. When it says “you,” it means the visitor or the person whose details are sent to us.

2. The nature of this website

The site is a static collection of pages. Forms are checked in your browser. Submitting a form shows a confirmation message on the page. The pages themselves do not operate a customer database, do not run a hidden account system, and do not ask you to create a password. If you and the studio later exchange email about a room, that correspondence is ordinary email between you and hello@bassicdeephouse.com, handled with the care described below.

3. Information you choose to send

Contact, quote, newsletter, and unsubscribe forms ask for details you type: typically your name, email address, a subject, and a message about a room or about mail you no longer want. Please send only what we need. Do not include payment card numbers, government identity numbers, or health information in a website form. If a project later requires a document, we will agree on a careful way to exchange it. We do not ask for your home address through these pages.

You decide whether to write. Providing a name and email is necessary if you want a reply or if you want to join or leave the newsletter. If you leave a required field empty or enter an email that fails the format check, the form will ask you to correct it and will not show the confirmation.

4. Information we do not seek on this site

We do not ask you to create an account. We do not intentionally collect precise location, contacts from your device, or the contents of your camera roll through the website. Project photos you choose to attach later by email are used to understand the room, not to build an advertising profile. We do not sell personal information. We do not rent mailing lists.

5. Newsletter

If you subscribe, we use your email to send occasional notes about rooms, finishes, and studio stories. You can unsubscribe on the unsubscribe page or by using the method described in a newsletter if one is sent. We keep a subscribe request only as long as needed to honor it and to show that you asked to hear from us. An unsubscribe request is kept long enough to honor the opt-out and to avoid writing to you again by mistake.

6. How client-side forms behave

Validation happens on your device. Required fields, minimum lengths, and email format are checked before the confirmation appears. The confirmation text is a courtesy so you know the page accepted the entry. Because these pages do not include a server program, you should also keep your own copy of anything important and, if you need a sure reply, write directly to hello@bassicdeephouse.com. Do not rely on a browser message alone as proof that a construction date is reserved.

7. Email we exchange after an inquiry

If you email the studio, we use the message to answer you, to prepare a brief, to schedule a walk, and to carry out work you ask us to do. People who see that mail are the leads and makers who need it for your rooms. We do not forward your inquiry to unrelated businesses. A supplier may learn a measurement or a finish choice when that information is required to order materials for your project. They receive the minimum needed for that order.

8. Photographs of projects

We sometimes photograph rooms we have improved. We avoid showing names, papers, and faces unless you agree. You may ask us not to publish identifying views of your house. Tell us by email and we will respect that limit in future gallery updates. Photos already shared with a publication at your request are subject to what you agreed with that publication.

9. Cookies and local storage

The pages are designed to work without tracking cookies. We do not drop advertising cookies and we do not run a third-party analytics suite from these files. Your browser may still store ordinary technical data, such as a font cache, under its own rules. A search box on the site filters links in the page you already loaded; it does not send a query to us.

10. Sharing links

Footer icons can open a share dialog on another service. If you use them, that service receives the address you chose to share, under its own policy. You can ignore the icons. They are optional. We do not receive a report of who clicked them beyond what your browser does on its own.

11. How long we keep information

Email about a potential project is kept while the conversation is active and for a reasonable period afterward so we can answer follow-up questions and keep a record of what was promised. Records required for a construction scope, warranty note, or legal duty are kept for the period that duty requires. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe, plus a short suppression record so we do not add you again by accident. If you ask us to delete an inquiry that has not become a contract, we will delete or anonymize it unless we must keep a copy to meet a legal obligation or to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim.

12. Security

We take reasonable care with inboxes and with project files: limited access, careful forwarding, and no casual posting of your plans. No method of sending email is perfectly secure. Do not use the forms or ordinary email for secrets that would cause serious harm if disclosed. Tell us promptly at hello@bassicdeephouse.com if you believe your correspondence with us has been exposed.

13. Children

The site is written for adults who can commission work on a home. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us a message, write to us and we will delete it.

14. Your choices and requests

You may ask what email we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete an inquiry, subject to the limits in the retention section. You may object to newsletter mail by unsubscribing. You may ask us not to publish your project. Send requests to hello@bassicdeephouse.com with the subject “Privacy.” We may need to confirm that the address belongs to you before we change records. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Depending on where you live, local law may give you additional rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information, or to appeal a refusal. We will not discriminate against you for making a lawful request. This policy does not limit rights that applicable law says we cannot limit. If we decline a request, we will explain the reason unless the law prevents that explanation.

15. International readers

The studio corresponds by email. If you write from another region, your message will be read by the people who staff the studio inbox. Do not send information if you are uncomfortable with that. We do not claim that the website meets every local registration rule in every region; if a project proceeds, the scope will say how we handle project records for that work.

16. Other websites

Links in share buttons or in a future note may leave this site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of services we do not operate. Read their policies before you create an account or post a photo there.

17. Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change. The version you see when you load the page is the current one. A material change will be reflected in the text itself, not only in a hidden file. Continued use of the site after an update applies the updated policy to new information you send. Scopes already signed keep any privacy clause written into them.

18. How to complain

Write to hello@bassicdeephouse.com first so we can try to put a mistake right. If you believe we have not handled personal information lawfully, you may also contact the privacy authority that applies to you. We would rather correct a problem directly and quickly.
